Sentinel (Jim/Blair):
Blair sat and smiled at the fire merrily burning in the fire place. It was dark with only the fire and the lights on the Christmas tree to cast any brightness into the room.
"Happy?" Jim asked as he came back over to the couch, where he sat and pulled his lover close.
"Very... Five years together. I almost can't believe it."
Blair grinned up at Jim and laid his head over his heart.
"I can't either. I just hope the next five are as happy...
Maybe not as action-packed... but I don't know any other way I would have wanted to spend this time." Jim brushed a kiss over Blair's curls and laid his cheek down on them while snuggling him closer.
"Well, I don't know. Maybe with all of the action out of our lives you'll lose interest in poor simple innocent me." Blair pouty sweetly and Jim laughed.
"I don't see that happening any time soon... In fact... not ever. I love you." Jim shifted and pulled Blair up for a deep kiss. When Blair pulled back he smiled softly and brushed the back of his hand over Jim's cheek. "I don't see it happening either... Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, my love."
Jim took the hand at his cheek and brushed a kiss in the palm before using it to pull them both to their feet. "Why don't you go on upstairs while I bank the fire and then I'll join you."
"Show me a little of that holiday spirits, lover?" Blair said already walking toward the staircase.
"I plan on doing just that."

The Fast the and Furious (Brian/Dom):
"Feliz Navidad!" Brian called out to a couple walking by as he parked his car in the drive that lead to the garage that had become his home. Dom stood at the door of the garage and watched him walk in with his arms loaded with presents.
"Someone's in deep holiday spirits." the bald racer commented as he took some of the presents from his lover.
"Yeah... I thought I heard Leon drunken versions of the Christmas carols all the way in town. We really should watch his liquor intake... I mean, what kind of impression is he leaving on Jesse?" Brian tutted as they walked in to where their tree was set up and the rest of the troupe was relaxing around it, then he reached out to smack Dom's hands as he started to shake one of the presents he had carried.
"No! Not until everyone else has opened their's." Brian insisted as he handed the different presents around the room.
Grumbling softly Dom sat and pulled Brian onto his lap so they could watch the other open their gifts.
Mia smiled over her chenille sweater. Leon giggled drunkenly over his box of comic books. Vince grinned over his leather vest.
And Jesse bounced in place over his new set of games.
"Now... Here's something for you." Dom whispered as he handed Brian his Christmas present.
Frowning slightly Brian had to work to get the tiny present open. Once inside he found a tiny wooden box and inside of it was a ring. Lifting it, he found it to be a plain platinum band with a nice sized diamond inset in the center.
"What..."
"Marry me." Dom murmured into Brian's ear making the blond sit up straight and turn wide eyes to him.
"What?"
"You heard me."
Brian glanced down at the ring then up at Dom before grinned and shaking his head. "Only you Dominic!"
"Is that a yes?" Dom asked, almost starting to get nervous.
"Yes! Did you really think I would say no?" Brian cuffed Dom on the side of the head and laughed. "I love you, you over grown idiot."
"Back at you, beach-bum."

Lord of the Rings (Legolas/Aragorn):

Aragorn didn't know what possessed him to drive his company so hard. Maybe he wanted to be home by the Solstice dinner that he knew he consort would have ready, just in case. Or maybe it was that consort that was waiting on him. It had been almost seven months since he had seen his fair Legolas. Or maybe it was just because they were that close to be home.
Whatever the reason Aragorn drove them on and just as the sun was about to set over the city he ruled his kingdom from, they rode proudly, if wearily through the streets.
At the gates to the inner castle the call had gone out and everyone started bustling to get their first look at their returned king. Aragorn waved and smiled at this people, but he didn't see the one he longed to see most.
As they rode up to the front steps of the castle a familiar blond came walking slowly out onto the balcony over looking the stairs. "Aragorn!"
Looking up at his name, Aragorn was greeted by the site of his consort in brilliant red robes that hung around his frame loosely. With a light leap the normally easy going king was off of his horse and running up the stairs. Not caring what his vassals thought Aragorn, ignoring the stairs inside that would lead him to his lover, the warrior king launched himself up and using the ivy growing around the side of the balcony pulled himself up to his lover quickly.
Without noticing the cat calls of his people Aragorn pulled himself gracefully over the bannister of the balcony and stood facing his long missed lover.
"Aragorn, my love." Legolas said with a soft smile, but instead of opening his arms to his love he wrapped them around his bulging middle.
"What is this?" Aragorn asked as he stared down at what the startling red robes reveled.
"Our first born... I didn't allow any of our people to write to you, for fear it would distract you on you mission to rid this world of the last of the orcs... Are you not pleased?" Legolas asked biting softly at his lover lip, wondering if he should have sent a message to his consort.
Not knowing what to say Aragorn gathered Legolas into his arms and held him, enjoying the strange new feel of their child pressed between them.
"I am very pleased... Though I do wish you would have wrote... I would have found a way to come home so much sooner if I had." Aragorn said after a few moment.
"That was another reason I didn't. You have a duty to our people... But for now, let us go and feast. I had wondered if you would get home today." With that Legolas lead his mate and consort inside to the feast.

Harry Potter (Marcus/Oliver):
"Are you certain you're feeling alright?" Marcus asked for the fiftieth time as Oliver relaxed on the bed before the large fireplace in their bed chambers.
"I am fine, my heart. Don't worry so much. I'm not due for another two and a half weeks. You heard what the medi-witch said."
Oliver told him as he ran his fingers over his distended tummy. He would be happy to be back down to his normal size once again, and to be able to get back onto a broom and fly with his husband, but for now he was content relaxing with their child growing within him. "I just have a strange feeling... I can't seem to shake it."
Marcus told him as he sat beside him and rubbed his belly.
"With it being not only our first Christmas married, but with me really pregnant, I think you're just worrying for nothing."
Oliver told him and silenced his next protest with a kiss. Marcus knowing better than to argue just nodded and shifted him to lay against his chest. "I love you, goody-goody."
"Love you too, snake." Oliver laughed over the nicknames and settled in to watch the flames of the fire flicker.
"Maybe you should lay down all the way and rest... You've had a long day." Marcus suggested softly when he felt his husband began to nod off.
"Maybe-" Oliver was cut off by a large yawn and had the grace to blush before he went on. "Maybe you're right. But I wasn't the only one to have along day. Rest with me please."
Nodding, Marcus helped him to undress and slide under the covers before stripping down and joining him.

Star Wars (Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon):
//My love?//
Qui-Gon looked up at the gentle calling of his bondmate. //Yes?// he answered smiling softly just the thought of his lover.
//I think you should come home now.// Obi-Wan said as he eased his hands around his large middle and fought against any of the mind numbing pains shooting through his system. He had known his time was near, but the peace accord the council had wanted Qui-Gon to over see had seemed more important. With the imminent arrival of their child, that accord seemed a lot less important.
//Are you all right, Obi-Wan?// Qui-Gon called as he stood and began to gather his things. There was only two things his bondmate would pull him away from the accord for. The first was something was wrong with their baby... the second was the arrival of their baby.
//I will be fine once you're here.... AND ONCE THIS PAIN STOPS!// Obi-Wan screamed the last as a massive pain took over his middle.
//My Love?// Qui-Gon called out when he felt their link suddenly cut off. When he received no response he hurriedly packed the rest of his things and rushed out of his quarters, thanking the Force he was only a short distance from Coruscant.
---
Qui-Gon hurried through the temple corridors wasting no time trying to make it for the birth of his child. He knew something was wrong, he hadn't heard from Obi-Wan over their link since they had lost touch and the council wouldn't tell him anything on the way. As he rounded the corner Master Yoda walked out of the room he sensed his bondmate to be in.
"Arrived, you have." Yoda said then shook his head. "Too late you are." the short master clucked his tongue and walked away, leaving a very fearful Qui-Gon to enter the room.
Obi-Wan was sitting up in bed smiling at the bundle in his arms. Looking up he grinned he balanced the bundle with one arm and reached out with the other.
The older man walked over and taking the hand allowed himself to be drawn closer. "This is our daughter." Obi-Wan said softly parting the blanket a little more and giving his bondmate his first look at their tiny baby girl.
"She perfect." Qui-Gon said softly as he gently lifted her from the exhausted arms of her birth father.
Her tiny hands reached out and Qui-Gon could feel the little disturbances in the Force she was making. Chuckling he settled himself in the only chair in the room to study her more. "She's already very intune with the Force."
"That's what Master Yoda said when he came in to check on us a little while ago... Qui-Gon..."
Looking up Qui-Gon found his former padawan sliding down to lay flat upon the bed. "Yes, my love?"
"Watch over her so I can rest... And don't worry. I'm not upset that you weren't here for her birth... I probably would have tried to hurt you had you been." Obi-Wan yawned and rubbed his cheek soothingly into the pillow before slowly relaxing into sleep.
"Thank you, Obi..." Qui-Gon murmured, though he didn't know which he was thanking him for: not being mad about missing the delivery or giving him the most beautiful baby in the universe. Later, a healer came in to check on the baby. Chuckling, she took the little girl from a very reluctant Qui-Gon. "It's okay. I'm not even taking her out of the room."
Qui-Gon watched as she took various readings and checked the baby over. "Well, congratulations, Master Qui-Gon. Your little girl was born on Solstice."
Looking up at the healer, Qui-Gon raised an eyebrow then his eyes widened as he realized it was indeed Solstice. "I forgot."
"That's okay, my love." Obi-Wan said as he slowly woke up. "I knew you had bigger things on your mind... and as you see your present arrived just on time."
Laughing, Qui-Gon nodded and took the little girl back. "Happy Solstice to us both then... And to you little one, Happy first Solstice to you!"

THE END

And that I say to you. Happy Solstice, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah. How ever you say it, practice it, or celebrate it, I wish everyone a great and joyous holiday season!
