The bell rang loudly in the store, signaling a customer had entered the office. Hilde, made her way around a dozen disembodied machine parts. Opening the outer office door she grabbed the check- in pad and a pen. She greeted the customer before looking up and locking eyes with Heero Yui's pale, cold face.
"Heero!!!" Hilde squealed, jumping the counter and throwing her arms around him. "Uhh!" Heero blanched,
"OH! Oh! Congratulations" Hilde squealed again.
"Hilde can't breath!" Heero gasped, pulling at her overalls.
"Huh?" Looking at him turning blue "Oh sorry, sorry. Let's see the ring then"
"Hilde GRrahh!!!" Wearing a welding mask and brandishing a metal pipe in his right hand…he came thundering through the outer doors.
"AHHH!!!" Hilde screamed in Heero ear and clang to him.
"What's all the yelling about?" he asked flipping the wielding mask up… "Heero?"
"DUO!!!" Hilde yelled "You scared Heero half to death, not to mention me!"
"Hey the amount you were screaming I thought we were being robbed"
"Oh…" Heero swayed.
"Heero you okay?" Dropping the pipe he took Heero's hands "You look pale" releasing one of Heero's hands, he tugged a greasy glove off his hand, smearing a little on his face.
"Sit Heero…" Hilde brought a chair over for him to sit down in "I'll get you some water"
"Heero…?" Kneeling in front of him Duo looked up into Heero's eyes "What's wrong honey?" Grazing his knuckles across Heero's cheek, Hilde returned with the water.
"Take small sips Heero"
"Thanks…" Heero replied weakly, taking a small sip he pressed the cool glass to his forehead and sighed.
"Heero...?" Duo urged "What's wrong?" Looking apologetic at Hilde, Heero hoped she got the silent message.
"Private…Right I'll be taking inventory out back if you need me `kay" cheerfully she headed outback, ad turned the radio on.
"Heero?" taking a few more sips Heero looked at he fiancé.
"I went to see a doctor today…"
"Because your still feeling sick…Heero you should have told me…I would have come with you" tilting Heero chin up "You know"
"I know I just…I had to do it myself…" finishing the glass.
"Well don't keep me in suspense" Taking the glass from him and setting it beside the chair "Tell me what the doctor said"
"She said…She said…um"
"Yes, she said?" Duo continued with a smile.
"She said congratulations…"
"Congratulations…?" Duo mimicked quirking an eyebrow. "For the engagement? We don't know her do we?"
"No"
"Than that is just…Just so weird" Duo mumbled. "Stalker…?"
"What? No. Dr Kelly is not a stalker."
"Well…Why's she saying congratulations for then?" Duo asked.
"She was saying congratulations because I'm pregnant" Heero smiled shyly "I'm going to have a baby"
"Pregnant?" Duo eyes drifted down to Heero belly. "Baby…"
"PREGNANT!!!"
"Hilde you dirty sneak!" Duo yelled
"You heard everything?" Heero paled.
"Well I couldn't help but hear you know…heh…heh…" Backing away slowly, "I'll be going home early today I think Lock up `kay" before running out keys and bag in hand.
"Heero…?
"Yes?" Looking at him
"Love you" pulling him up from the chair he gave Heero a careful hug "love we're having a baby" nuzzling Heero's bangs.
"Oh! Duo I didn't know how you would react…" Heero sighed and melted into Duo's hug "I know we're still young but it just kind of happened…I guess"
"We'll just take in our stride love…" cuddling him closer "How far along did she say you were?"
"Almost Eight weeks—Whoa!" being held out at arms length
"Eight weeks! Two months" Duo stared.
"Y-Y- Yes…"
"You'll be huge by September…We'll have to move the wedding forward!"
"I guess…"Heero replied.
"I won't have anyone thinking your just getting married because I knocked you up and you don't want to be a single mother raising your kid on the streets"
"Duo…"
"We've got to make some calls and arrange the wedding closer though I don't know how, the church that we booked is already taken…"
"Duo…"
"And the flowers and cake place don't do short notice things…"
"Duo!" Heero yelled.
"Heero you shouldn't be yelling in your condition." Duo scowled
"Duo, listen to me" cupping his heart shaped face in his hands "I don't care that I'll be huge when I marry you--" pressing a finger to his lips to stop another outburst "And I'd marry you in a heart beat…But I want the wedding day we picked out, I want our friends to see us tell the world that we'll love each other…for the rest of our lives"
"Heero…" Smiling Duo hugged him close
`Click'
"What the…?" Duo blinked, turning hid head to see Hilde snapping a photo
"Couldn't resist" Hilde smiled.
"Hilde!!!" Duo yelled before running after her.
"Here Heero catch" Hilde smiled "Present for the Memories" Heero smile back and snapped a photo of Duo chasing Hilde.
"Thanks Hilde"

"That was how Mama told you?"
"Yep" Duo smiled grazing his chin over Kozue's chestnut hair.
"Aunty Hilde was hot wasn't she?"
"Mitsu" Seiko grumbled "That's disrespectable"
"Can I have the meaning, please?" Mitsu asked smartly
"Guys…"
"Did you get married early?" Kumi asked
"No…we didn't" Duo smiled.
"In September like you said?" Seiko asked.
"No actually it was more like…an hour before you were born"
"Why so late?" Kozue asked smirking at Seiko.
"Yeah" Seiko asked insulted.
"Time like all things slips away from you...." kissing the top of Kozue head "We did it together when it meant the most."
"That's so romantic" Kumi cooed.
"Not really your Mama really wanted to be married before Seiko was born and Seiko had decide he wanted out a few weeks early"
"Shot gun wedding Aye" Mitsu laughed, punching Duo's arm playfully.
"Yeah you could say that but I would do it over again" Smiling he continued to look through the picture he, Heero and Hilde had taken that day.
