Title: Another Duke

Disclaimer: I don't own it, so please don't sue.
A.N.: *groans* I can't believe I wrote this, but after all of the things being said on the list about DoH I couldn't help myself. It's short and it's kind of silly, but then again that's about how the show was.

Balladeer POV:
Well, for the last couple of weeks in Hazzard things hadn't been as quiet as normal. The most peculiar bit of gossip had gotten out. It seemed that the Duke boys had been caught out at Little River look out.
Little River look out was a notorious place for Rosco and Enos to bust up young couples trying to, shall we say, get better acquainted. Now, Bo and Luke being up there wasn't all that unusual.
What was odd however was their choice of partner.
It seemed Enos had gone up for his usual Friday night round up of the couples and had been all smiles when he saw the General Lee sitting there. He'd gone up to the window and rapped lightly on the roof of the car before he shined the light in. Seeing black hair he'd laughed as he spoke. "Sorry, Luke but you're going to have to break it up and take her some place else."
Oh boy did Enos get a shock when Luke jerked back to stare at him and the deputy got a look at Luke's partner of choice... Bo Duke.
The whole town had been in an uproar, some ready to string the boys up, others ready to string up the one's with the noose. But like all things, it had been processed and accepted because Bo and Luke were truly liked in Hazzard.
Now life was back to normal except now the girls were all crying over Bo and Luke being off the market and the two boys could be seen holding hands where ever they went. Even ole' Rosco and Boss weren't trying to use this against the boys, much to everyone's surprise.

Regular POV:

"Luke, I've got to make a run into Atlanta... Would you mind taking over my chores for the morning, please?" Bo asked as he nibbled at his breakfast.
Luke shrugged. "Why don't you wait and we finish the morning chores together and then go together. Make an afternoon of it."
Bo shook his head. "No... I've got to go take care of some... personal business." The slight blush on his cheeks had Luke shifting a little.
"Oh... um... a supply run?" Luke's cheeks were bright red as he glanced at Daisy and Jesse, who were concentrating on their own breakfasts.
"Erm... yeah... and a couple of other things to." Bo's face looked like fire engine after a fresh paint job.
"I don't mind. I just don't want to get stuck doing the evening chores by myself too." Luke was glad he didn't have to go by their lubricant. Last time he'd tried he'd been too embarrassed and ended up buying everything but what he needed.
"I'll be back before then... or at least I should. I'd better run." Bo stood and gave Luke a quick kiss before running out of the house, the keys to the General Lee in his hand.
"He didn't eat enough to keep a small bird quiet! That's the eighth morning in a row that he hasn't eaten. I hope he'd not coming down with something." Daisy said as she noticed his plate was still mostly full.
"Aww Daisy I would worry none about Bo. I'm sure he's just had his mind on other things here lately. He'll probably be back to his old self in no time." Uncle Jesse said as he patted her on the shoulder.

Balladeer's POV:
I don't know about you, but I'd kind of like to know what's up with Bo. Almost nothing can put a Duke off their feed... This is odd, even for one of the Duke boys.

Regular POV:
Bo walked out of the clinic looking pale and more than slightly panicked. "What am I going to do?" Looking down he stared at the pregnancy brochures in one hand and the prescription for prenatals in the other.
Sighing, he pocketed them and after checking on prices he got the prescription filled as well as buying his and Luke's lube.
Going to the General Lee he looked at the welded doors and laughed softly as he pictured himself trying to slide in when his stomach got big. Unable to help himself he laughed most of the way home, at least until he got to the drive way of the farm. Then he paled and wondered how the town was going to handle this news so quickly after finding out about him and Luke being together.
"Hey, Bo! Just in time to help me with the feed Uncle Jesse just brought home." Luke called out as he was beginning to unload their uncle's pickup.
"Actually, Luke... we need to talk first. And then we've got to talk to Uncle Jesse and Daisy." Bo said as he slide out of the orange Charger and walked over to his lover.
Luke looked a little pale. "You're sick. I should'da known when you didn't eat breakfast something was wrong. How bad is it?"
"No! I'm not sick... I've just got a small case of..." Bo left off in a mumble as his face was buried in Luke's shoulder.
"A small case of what?" Luke asked as he pulled Bo back enough so he could hear what he said.
"Pregnancy." Bo said softly as he chewed on his bottom lip.
"Wha?" Luke's eyes bulged before his eyes began to twinkle and he started grinning. "You're having a baby?" Wrapping his arms around Bo he held him tightly and swung him in a large circle. "Yehaa! We're going to be daddies!"
Bo couldn't help smiling as he allowed Luke to celebrate by swirling them around, at least until he got sick to his stomach from that kind of movement. "Enough Luke... I'm going to puke if you don't stop."
Luke immediately had him set steadily on his feet and held him for a moment to make sure that Bo wasn't going to fall over from being dizzy. "That's what you had to go into Atlanta for. You didn't want it around town about the baby."
"That and we were almost out of KY." Bo told him with a blush.
Balladeer's POV:
And that was how Bo and Luke's little secret came out to the rest of Hazzard...

THE END

AN: I still can't believe I just wrote that... *runs off to hide in a corner*
