'Prat' William thought as he snatched his poem back from the man who had stolen it. 'Bloody prat.'

What was it with people and their love of picking on him? Was he really all that bad?

William sighed as he sank into a chair in the corner and burried his face in his hands. He wished his mother wouldn't make him do this. She seemed to think he didn't have a good enough social life. What she didn't realize was that he had a wonderful one. It was just frowned upon.

"Hey."

William jumped and turned. "Oh, hi Paul. What are you doing here?"

Paul grinned. "Got a new guy at the tavern. Wanna come meet him?"

William glanced around, then grinned. "Sure. Anything to get away from here."

William stood and snuck out the back door with Paul. They ran down an alley until they came to a small door. Paul reached up and knocked twice, then once, then four times.

The door opened. "Hey guys." The man said. He grinned at William. "Oh hey."

William mock glared at him. "How many times do I have to say no, Harry?"

Harry grinned. "Couple million more times."

"Alright; no infinity."

William laughed as Harry rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, man. What is it? Am I not cute enough for you?"

It was William's turn to roll his eyes. He moved passed Harry into the tavern. Several people clapped him on the back as he moved inside, and several more waved at him. William smiled.

"Who's the new guy!" He called to Paul over the music.

"You'll see him."

William glanced at the band playing. "New guys?"

"Yeah. Got tired of the old songs."

William nodded. "Come on, I need a drink."

Paul rolled his eyes. "Bad time at the upper class party?"

"Yes," William sighed. "It's not fun to be upper class. Don't ever try it."'

Paul laughed. "Why don't you just tell your Mum you don't like it?"

"She thinks I need a better social life. If I try to tell her otherwise, she'll ask if I'm doing something else. I'd have to tell her I"m homosexual, and I'm not sure how she'd take it."

"You could lie."

William gave Paul a look. "Or not," Paul shrugged. "Oh, there he is."

William turned. His blue eyes searched the crowd for only a second before they landed on the tall, dark man walking toward the bar. His chocolate brown eyes met with William's blue ones.

"Uh, Will? Will? You're sta--"

"Shh," William hissed.

The man walked up to the bar and ordered something, then turned to William.

"Hello," He said, looking amused at the way William was staring at him.

"Hi," William held out his hand. "I'm William."

The man took it. "Angelus."

"How'd you find this place?" William asked.

Angelus smiled. "I have my ways. How did you find it?"

"I met Paul."

Angelus nodded. He glanced out at the dance floor, then at William. He tossed back his drink before standing. "Want to dance?"

William smiled shyly. It had been a while since anyone had asked him to dance. "Sure."

"Oh my god, you are the luckiest man alive," Paul breathed beside him.

William grinned. "I'm just cuter then you are," He teased before jumping up so Paul couldn't hit him.

It turned out that Angelus was a very good dancer.

"You look like upper class," Angelus said conversationally.

"Unfortunately." William answered. "I don't usually come here in a suit, but Paul caught me at a party."

Angelus nodded. "Well, loose the tie and jacket and undo a couple buttons and you'd look downright sexy."

William blushed. "Really?"

"Sure. And maybe comb this back a bit, make it not quite so poofy."

William glanced upward toward his hair. "I've tried. It's stubborn."

"Try getting it wet first."

Sila glanced around the crowd, trying to find the man she was supposed to curse. She found him and muttered a few words before releasing the spell.

Just as it was about to hit a young man was twirled in front of it.

"Uh oh."

William paused when a strange tingly sensation spread through his abdomnomen. He waited a moment to see if it would return.

"What is it?" Angelus asked, pulling him back toward him.

"Oh nothing," William answered, concentrating on Angelus again.

It was passed midnight when William finally realized how late it was.

"I have to go," William told Angelus. "Will I see you here tomorrow?"

Angelus gave him a seductive smile. "You can count on it."

William supressed an excited shiver and left.

His mother was still awake when he arrived home, which wasn't a good sign.

"Where have you been?" His mother asked in a half annoyed half worried tone.

"At the party," William lied. "I'm sorry. I was having a good time."

That got rid of the annoyance.

"You see?" His mother said, seeming thrilled. "I told you they weren't so bad."

William faked a smile. "I'm going to sleep, you should too."

--------------

William hurried into the tavern and looked around for Angelus. He spotted him at the bar and hurried over.

"Hey."

Angelus turned and smiled. "Hello. I thought you'd be back."

William smiled. "I had a good time last night."

"So did I," Angelus held out his hand. "Want to dance again?"

"I sure do." William slid his hand into Angelus's.

This time the dancing was faster and more frisky. William rather liked it. It was more exciting.

"So," Angelus said. "I noticed you dressed a bit like I suggested."

William smiled slightly. His shirt was the same as last night, but it had four buttons undone, and his hair was now hanging down the back of his neck.

"Do I really look okay?"

"More then okay," Angelus smirked. "I like the hair style."

"It was the only way it would stay down," William ran a hand over it.

Angelus pulled William up close and sniffed at it. "Smells nice."

William blushed, though he couldn't figure out why. Of all the things he chose to blush over, it had to be that.

Angelus moved down to William's neck and lightly kissed it, sending an excited shiver though him.

"Want to get out of here?" Angelus asked seductively in his ear.

William swallowed nervously. "You mean...?"

As an answer, Angelus smirked. William swallowed again. He'd never done that before. He'd never gotten more then a few kisses.

"Yeah," He said, feeling suddenly bold. "Let's get out of here."

Angelus grinned and walked toward the back exit. The second they were out William found himself against the wall and being kissed hard. He shivered again, liking the roughness Angelus used.

Angelus moved to his neck. "There's something you should know."

"W-what?" William asked breathlessly.

Angelus rose up. William gasped at the fangs and ridges.

"I'm not human."

"Oh bloody hell," William swore, surprised to find that it only turned him on more.

Angelus chuckled. "Now that's a new reaction."

William smiled slightly. "I have a kinky side."

"Oooh," Angelus leaned down and kissed his throat again. "That sounds fun."

William shivered. He tilted his head back against the wall.

"Bite me?"

A growl rose up from Angelus before fangs sank into his neck. William gasped at the good pain/pleasure that raced through him. His hands flew up to clutch at Angelus's shoulders.

"Bloody hell," He gasped.

Angelus pulled back. "Like that, huh?"

William nodded. "We really, really need to get out of here NOW."

Angelus smirked. "We'll go to my place and explore that kinky side of yours."

William grinned and followed Angelus out of the alley.
